The grammar school is housed in a historic building, which was built when the capacity of
the original Kežmarok Lycée was no longer sufficient. For example, there was a drawing
room and a gym. The building was consecrated and opened in 1893. Other additional con
structions took place. The building belongs to the Evangelical Church and is on the list of
national cultural monuments of Slovakia
