Tank T-34/85, also called Jánošík, can be found between Kežmarok Castle and Garbiarská
Street, in the town park. It was placed in the park in 1969. At one time it was one of the best
medium-size tanks and is a memorial to the liberation of Kežmarok during World War
II. Every year, commemorative memorial gatherings are held here on the occasion of the
commemoration of World War II.
