In 1950, the historic centre of Kežmarok was declared an urban heritage reservation. It is composed of the following
streets: Hviezdoslav’s Street (Hviezdoslavova ulica), the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), the Castle Square (Hradné
námestie), the Church Square (Kostolné námestie), New Street (Nová ulica), the Old Market (Starý trh) (the oldest
street of the 13th century) and Dr Alexander Street (Ulica Dr. Alexandra).
